Knitting

Just wanted to post some photos of the beautiful ladies from knitting group this past week. We had eight knitters on Thursday, so exciting, biggest turnout of the season :)

This is what I made at knitting group...I know it's not knitting but I've wanted to make this headband for a while now.  But, my next project is to knit baby booties so watch out for that..

Tucson Galavanting

This weekend I went on a little trip to visit my sisters. It was so good to see them, be in the sun, and not be working. On Sunday we took a little adventure and went on a beautiful hike. Here are some photos from our trip. I can't really remember the name of the canyon that we hiked through. It is right on the Nogales border and a popular spot for people to cross over into the states....we didn't see any travelers though.

Pearls and Pizza

Mmmm so who has seen the movie "Julie and Julia?" It is a beautiful movie about love, life, cooking and blogs. Kris and I watched it the other night and it inspired me in a few ways.....
1) To be a more artistic cook
2) To wear pearls while I cook
3) To chop of my hair

So, as you can see I chopped of my hair. Something I have actually been thinking about for a few months now but got an unction to do this past week. My "pearls" are much larger and were made by a dear friend. You can find all her beautiful jewelery here: www.weartheworld.etsy.com. My artistic cooking...a feta, roasted red pepper, leek and chicken pizza. Delicious and gluten free!
