What a weekend.....

I am so thankful for the beauty that God places in my life. Good scenery and good friends!
Here are a few photos from last weekend. We had a wonderful house warming party and a great trip down to the the rim with James and Emily! Yes, two married couples can sleep in the van and be friends after the trip :)

1st day in our new home

Well we have spent one day and one night in the new abode and..... I love it! I am delightfully happy there, so peaceful, so colorful, so right for this moment in our lives. It is so exciting that we are writing the words for stories that we will tell for the rest of our lives.

 I wanted to put up a lot of photos to capture the beauty of this moment. We had good friends over this morning for some breakfast and an attempt at bocce ball. What a beautiful Saturday morning it was..... What adventures are you up to today?

Every Home Needs Beautiful Curtains

Hello Everyone......
So thankfully my hubby has returned home and I am overjoyed! However, while he was away I was able to get a lot of sewing done which probably wouldn't have happened had he been around to distract me. I sewed up curtains for the entire van and I am very proud of them considering this was my first sewing project EVER. (except for the pajama pants I made when I was 10)

Me with the new beauties!! Well Ladies......( I think only ladies read my blog for some reason) I feel like a Woman, with a capital W, now that I can sew. I am loving summer nights around here..... so beautiful. Kris and I went and found the spot today that we will be calling home shortly. Here she is...... don't even tell me you're not jealous.
